This hotel is situated in the heart of the village of Obidos, housed within one of the 7 wonders of Portugal, the 14th-century castle of Castelo de Óbidos. Peniche and Caldas da Rainha can be reached by car in 35 minutes. Lisbon International Airport is a 55-minute drive away. The hotel successfully combines medieval accommodation with modern facilities. All guestrooms are air-conditioned and feature stone walls, four-poster beds and chandeliers. They also have fully equipped private bathrooms. The hotel's restaurant serves Portuguese cuisine made with local produce. Recreational activities such as hiking and horseback riding are available in the area and can be arranged at the tour desk. The castle has lounge areas with special features such as medieval suits of armour and paintings representing different periods of its past.
