A Pousada de Valença foi inaugurada em 1962, num projecto da autoria do arquitecto João de Mello Breyner Andresen. Esta Pousada abraça o Vale do Rio Minho, desde as verdes margens portuguesas até ao progresso galego que envolve a catedral de Tui. Situada no cimo do centro histórico e fortificado de Valença, em plena fronteira com Espanha, a Pousada de São Teotónio tem uma magnífica vista sobre as terras do país vizinho e descansa sobre as muralhas da vila, onde se pode sentir a harmonia da natureza num cenário idílico. Este hotel em Valença caracteriza-se pela sua faceta acolhedora, onde se destacam as grandes lareiras na sala de estar. Os seus 18 quartos são um autêntico retiro para quem procura paz e sossego.
