Quinta da Mata is a granite-built manor house from the 17th century – with a private chapel, located 3 km away from the city of Chaves on the hillside of “Serra do Brunheiro” surrounded by a luxuriant forest and by transparent streams. The access to the main house is made by a magnificent stair that leads to a forecourt to welcome guests. A pleasant garden embraces and compliments the main home's exquisite finish out and décor. Horse riding, cycling, and walking, along fascinating pathways are some of the diversified leisure activities available.
