A Casa dos Castelejos, localizada no Monte do Guerreiro, entre Castro Verde e Mértola, é um convite a descobrir o mais puro e autêntico Alentejo. Esta casa encabeça uma propriedade de 480ha, que se estende no horizonte, onde o gado mertolengo pasta em total harmonia com a natureza. A sobrevoar a Herdade, ao longo da ribeira ou sobre os campos semeados que lhes dão de comer, esvoaçam uma grande diversidade de aves estepáreas. A Casa dos Castelejos é uma casa de campo que respeita a típica traça de um monte alentejano, com um toque de modernidade, de forma a proporcionar aos seus hóspedes, o máximo conforto e prazer. A reconstrução deste conjunto arquitetónico privilegiou os materiais típicos da região, como as tijoleiras, o xisto, tectos em madeira com barrotes e alguns apontamentos em taipa e pedra. A elegância da decoração atesta o bom gosto da família Brito Paes que dedicou muito carinho e originalidade á organização e restauro de todos os espaços.
