Este hotel histórico está situado en el corazón del centro histórico de Évora, ciudad declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. El templo romano o templo de Diana, la iglesia de Lóios, la catedral gótica, la muralla de la ciudad y la iglesia de San Francisco están a un paseo. El aeropuerto de Lisboa, también llamado aeropuerto de Portela, queda a unos 130 km.El hotel es un antiguo convento y es uno de los edificios arquitectónicos más preciosos de Évora. En 1965, el convento abrió sus puertas convertido en un histórico hotel de lujo.
