This splendid hotel is set in a magnificent, Belle Epoque-style building which is perched atop of Mt. St. Luzia, only 600 metres from the Basilica of Santa Luzia. This excellent setting provides fantastic views over the town. The main railway station of Viana do Castelo is within walking distance and much of the town can be reached within a ten-minute drive. The hotel is one of the Pousadas of Portugal, offering spacious and luminous guest rooms with sombre and tasteful décor and modern amenities such as hydro massage baths, wireless internet access, cable television and air-conditioning.
