Em S. Cristovão do Selho, no concelho de Guimarães, ergue-se a Casa do Ribeiro mandada construir em 1688. O conjunto da propriedade, integra quatro quintas e amplos montados, encerrando nas suas paredes testemunhos do fausto e a história de outrora. O mobiliário antigo preservado e os tectos artisticamente pintados, transportam os hóspedes para outros tempos. Na fachada principal podemos ver as armas da família e, no seu belo jardim, uma fonte com três estátuas, simbolizando as Três Virtudes: Fé, Esperança e Caridade. Em 1984, abre as portas ao turismo de habitação, dispondo de quatro quartos confortáveis. Lugar de paisagem natural, ar puro e águas cristalinas, oferece aos visitantes uma atmosfera tradicional do Minho, passeios pedestres, produtos locais, magustos, sardinhadas e animados arraiais.
