A Casa de Canedo, também conhecida como Casa do Barreiro, é uma encantadora casa senhorial situada em Terras de Basto, uma região conhecida pela sua beleza natural e vinhos requintados. A casa, com o seu ocre amarelo marcante em contraste com o granito cinzento original e a vegetação luxuriante, data do século XVII. Originalmente pertencente à família Axe de Andrade, foi mais tarde adquirida por Fernando Rau, da Sociedade Agrícola de Basto. Inserida numa extensa propriedade de 90 hectares dedicada à silvicultura e à produção de vinho, a Casa de Canedo possui uma praça lindamente projetada com intrincada arquitetura vegetal e um tranquilo pátio interior.
