The building that houses this hotel dates back 1627, but it was carefully restored in order to both preserve its classical charm and fit it will all of the amenities needed by the modern tourists. Nestled in the heart of the city its guests can find several cafés, restaurants, bars located within a 5 minutes' walk. First time travellers should put visiting a Fado (live, traditional music houses) house on their must-do list and there are a few around the venue. Some of the attractions that guests can visit by just strolling the streets for 10 minutes are the Igreja e Mosteiro da Santa Cruz, Coimbra Old Cathedral and the University of Coimbra. There are also several parks, cathedrals and museums all housed in the historical city centre and all easily reachable on foot. The hotel is also just down the street from the central bus and train station.

- The cancellation request when sent by email must be made before 6:00 pm, after that time it will only be considered on the following business day.

- If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- 1% deposits are non-refundable and can not be used for future bookings.

- 5% deposits are non-refundable but may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled.
