Description

A notable example of 18th century style architecture from the reign of Dom João V, this house was designed by the famous Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni.  From the lovely Baroque fashioned windows there are wonderful views of the lavish green Minho countryside.  Visitors to Casa das Torres are greeted by a lofty gateway, inviting into the spacious courtyard, surrounded by majestic ancient trees.  The interior is beautifully furnished, evidencing a living testimony to the mystic presence of the family ancestors.  Here, you can stay in a traditional ancient manor house and enjoy an atmosphere of hospitality and comfort in permanent contact with nature, either taking part in farming activities, discovering hidden treasures of this region of simply relaxing by the pool.
