Alcácer do Sal é uma cidade histórica que possui uma parte antiga medieval e um castelo. Fica na 'Reserva Natural do Estuário do Sado', uma área extremamente rica em flora e fauna. A península de Tróia e Comporta proporciona um grande número de opções de lazer e de locais de interesse.
