Descripción General: Directamente junto a la playa de arena se encuentra el hotel Algar. La ciudad Silves está aprox. a 13 km de distancia (Lagoa aprox. 13 km, Portimao aprox. 18 km). Las tiendas y comercios están aprox. a 7 km del hotel, a unos 10 m puede encontrarse un supermercado. Hay una discoteca a unos 18 km. Para desplazarse durante las vacaciones, además de un servicio de alquiler de vehículos, tiene a su disposición un servicio de alquiler de motos y también una parada de taxis y una parada de autobús (ambos aprox. a 600 m). Puede accederse a lugares ubicados a una distancia mayor a través de la estación de tren, situada a unos 12 km. En caso de emergencia y necesidad de asistencia médica, hay un hospital situado a unos 18 km de distancia. El aeropuerto (FAO) se sitúa a unos 54 km.
