Description
The Hotel Quinta da Serra is situated on the Jardim da Serra village, near Câmara de Lobos, on a 100 hectare, on a beautiful green valley the property lays at an altitude of 820 meters. The original building dates from the beginning of the XVIII century, and its history is connected with Henry Veitch, a British Consul that arrived at Madeira in 1809, and ordered its construction, giving it the name of Jardim (Garden), such was the richness and beauty of its gardens, that, alongside with the botanical variety became an attraction for lovers of plants and trees. Surrounded by lush gardens, the Hotel Quinta da Serra has implemented a system of organic farming (in the conversion process) and has important and monumental trees, at it is the case of the highest eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) registered in Madeira, with about 64 meters and a diameter of about 10 meters at its base. Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation free of charge until the date provided in "cancellation charges" (information available on booking form).
- The cancellation request when sent by email must be made before 6:00 pm, after that time it will only be considered on the following business day.
- If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.
- 1% deposits are non-refundable and can not be used for future bookings.
- 5% deposits are non-refundable but may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.
- Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled.
