Just a 5-minute drive away from the city of Gouveia, in the slopes of Serra da Estrela Mountain, Madre de Água Hotel Rural is located in a producing wine, cheese and olive oil farm. Some Madre de Água rooms feature a fireplace and a seating area, and all come with a private bathroom equipped with slippers, bathrobe and free Portuguese toiletries. The restaurant on site serves regional cuisine in a warm atmosphere highlighted by the fireplace. Guests can enjoy in-room meals through room service. During the day, guests can join the daily activities at the farm, like taking the sheep to pasture, wandering through the vineyards or enjoying a traditional picnic. During warmer days, the outdoor pool invites you to refresh and sunbathe. Guests are welcome to participate in guided tours through the property and participate in farm activities, such as milking and shearing the sheep. - Cancellation free of charge until the date provided in "cancellation charges" (information available on booking form).

- The cancellation request when sent by email must be made before 6:00 pm, after that time it will only be considered on the following business day.

- If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- 1% deposits are non-refundable and can not be used for future bookings.
