Description

The hotel is in Chaves, a historic town in northern Portugal, 9 km from the border with Spain. Chaves is known for its thermal springs which are used for different health problems and beauty treatments. The waters here are considered the hottest in Europe and their medicinal properties were discovered by the Romans. In the heart of the city, about 100 m from the thermal spa and minutes from the beautiful river Tâmega, this property has a privileged location close to many landmarks such as the remnants of the town's castle, churches, the Roman bridge and the São Francisco Fort. Visitors can hop on the tourist train to explore the town, relax in the Jardim do Tabolado Park or try one of the many local delicacies. The hotel provides a restaurant serving regional cuisine, free breakfast and a reading and TV area. The rooms have a balcony, bathroom, air-conditioning, satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

- The cancellation request when sent by email must be made before 6:00 pm, after that time it will only be considered on the following business day.

- If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- 1% deposits are non-refundable and can not be used for future bookings.

- 5% deposits are non-refundable but may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled.
