The hotel is located in Queluz, which is both a town and a parish within the municipality of Sintra. It has more than 70,000 inhabitants and is located 14 km from Sintra and 12 km from Lisbon. The hotel is housed in a building formerly used by the Royal Guard of the Court in the Palace of Queluz, known as the 'Portuguese Versailles'.
