he exact date of construction of this rustic house is unknown, although by the architectural style and archaeological evidence, it is thought to be late 17th or early 18th century. This farm setting in the most northerly village of Portugal is close to the Peneda-Gerês National Park, rendering a most picturesque location. Nestled within a mountain region rich in flora and fauna, this traditional country house provides accommodation in a pleasant atmosphere, bringing its guests closely in touch with the natural environment of this region. A swimming pool and library and a small museum complete the attention given to detail. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and the nearby spa in Melgaço offers a range of relaxing and therapeutic treatments.
