In the heart of Minho, just 900 metres from the historic centre of Ponte de Lima, the Convent of Val' Pereiras is a good starting point for discovering the charms of this region of Minho. This manor house, with its traditional architecture, was built on the farm of Val Pereiras, at the foot of the hill of Saint Ovid, on the ruins of an old Franciscan convent built in 1360. The house and its surroundings were recently restored by its current owner. The Castro Neves family got down to work and, with imagination and creativity, added comfort to the already interesting set of two houses, accompanied by a warm family atmosphere. One of the farm's main attractions is its swimming pool, hidden away in the verdant historic garden, which provides visitors with the ideal setting for relaxation.
