The city of Elvas, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, is located near the border between Portugal and Spain and lies along the main motorway between Lisbon and Madrid. António Ferro, a Portuguese poet had the vision of distinctive, rare and typically Portuguese hotels that were peaceful, gracious, elegant places. The SL Hotel – Santa Luzia**** presents itself as a meeting point among comfort, the art of welcoming, the History of Elvas, the gastronomy of Alentejo, and its unique landscape, continuing the tradition started in 1942, when it opened as the first Pousada of Portugal. - Cancellation free of charge until the date provided in "cancellation charges" (information available on booking form).

- The cancellation request when sent by email must be made before 6:00 pm, after that time it will only be considered on the following business day.

- If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.
