Former private residence of João Federico Ludovice architect to King João V in the 18th century, the palace became a building of interest after having survived the 1755 Lisbon Great Earthquake. Over the course of 300 years it has served for different purposes, turning the palacete into a lively hub with shops, private apartments for the European aristocracy, the Russian consulate, among others. From 1945 this was the house of Solar do Vinho do Porto and since 2016 a profound reconstruction work took place under the eye of the architect Miguel Câncio Martins to bring to life the ultimate luxury boutique hotel experience in the city. - The cancellation request when sent by email must be made before 6:00 pm, after that time it will only be considered on the following business day.

- If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- 1% deposits are non-refundable and can not be used for future bookings.

- 5% deposits are non-refundable but may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled.
