Casa das Penhas Douradas - Burel Expedition Hotel is a charming hotel located at 1500 meters of altitude, in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela, with a unique mountain landscape framing. The hotel has 17 rooms and 1 suite, all panoramic, with a cozy and familiar atmosphere. The decor is made in warm, welcoming tones, and features pieces from Nordic and Portuguese artists. Wool is one of the main elements, with the burel coating some furniture pieces like sofas, puffs, armchairs and walls. There are also fireplaces and three living rooms. The hotel also has a Mountain SPA, a Vichy shower and a relaxation room, a heated indoor pool with panoramic views, sauna and hydromassage. The Restaurant is also panoramic. Its signature food transformed the mountain gastronomy to ensure an innovative touch through the use of local ingredients. With a set of proposals that meet everyone, including vegan and vegetarian. - If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.
