Cante Alentejano ist ein Chorgesang mit zwei Solostimmen (Punkt und hoch), die sich mit einem Chor abwechseln, an dem sie ebenfalls teilnehmen. Die Strophen werden in einem Zyklus wiederholt, so oft die Sänger es wünschen. Diese Wiederholung sowie das langsame Tempo und die vielen Pausen lassen den Gesang eine sehr schöne Monotonie haben. Die Themen der Lieder, die von Männer- oder Frauengruppen gesungen werden, sind in der Regel traurig. Im Alentejo-Lied wird das, was in der Seele ist, bekannt gemacht, eine Melancholie, wie Sehnsucht, Liebe, wie Wünsche und Erinnerungen an das Land, in dem man geboren wurde. Aber Alentejo und Gesang können auch fröhlich sein. Es gibt sogar ironische oder humorvolle Lieder. Auf jeden Fall haben die lebhaften Stimmen diejenigen verzaubert, die ihnen seit Jahrhunderten zuhören. Der Ursprung des Alentejo-Gesangs ist ungewiss: Gregorianischer Gesang oder arabischer Gesang. - Cancellation free of charge until the date provided in "cancellation charges" (information available on booking form).

- The cancellation request when sent by email must be made before 6:00 pm, after that time it will only be considered on the following business day.

- If the booking has already been payed in full before the cancelation date, 95% of the value is refunded and the remaining 5% remain in credit and may be used in a future reservation. The maximum term for the use of the credit is 60 days after the date of the first cancellation.

- 1% deposits are non-refundable and can not be used for future bookings.

- Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled.
