Located in the Guadalquivir valley, Seville is Spain's fourth largest city and the capital of Andalusia. Together with Granada and Cordoba, it forms the 'historical triangle of Andalusia'.' The city has a prestigious past and a very rich artistic heritage, and the old town houses a number of structures that have been listed as UNESCO World heritage sites, including the famous cathedral, the Giralda bell tower and the Real Alcazar palace. It is hard to find a city with so many monuments that are both varied and original and which is beautiful as well. The city is lively at night and you will enjoy wandering through the areas with narrow cobbled streets and visiting its many tapas bars to sample highly colourful and flavoursome cuisine.
